AMRITSAR

The spiritual capital of Punjab, a major Sikh pilgrimage & home to the world-famous, spectacular Golden Temple, the quintessential city of Amritsar is also among the largest cities of the state. Next to Amritsar is Jallianwala Bagh where the Amritsar Massacre took place. The streets and markets of the city, the lip-smacking cuisine, handlooms, fabrics, jutti, old city markets, etc. make this place perfect not only for travelling but also for shopping. Earlier, the city was known as Ramdaspur and Ambarsar, now the city is one of the most flamboyant destinations in North India.

Architecturally well-planned city, designed by Le Corbusier in 1950 (Swiss architect), Chandigarh stands one of the most beautiful cities of the country. A wonderful example of urban planned, located in the foothills of Shivalik Range, Chandigarh showcases new-age city plans along with fine composition of modern lifestyle and green environment. City’s sector 17 is widely famous for being a hub of world-class shopping and dining experience whereas a huge crowd head to sector 22 for accommodation.
