JAGDALPUR

A gateway to the state’s tribal culture, Jagdalpur is a city of Bastar district abundant in natural beauty. Surrounded by several waterfalls, cascades, lakes and thick forests, caves, the elegance of Jagdalpur is still untouched. Visit the local markets, haat and you can get a chance to witness the tribal people buying and shopping daily stuff which is a great experience to learn about tribal life. BASTAR

Known for its exuberant tribal activities, Bastar is surrounded by dense forests, ancestral temples and naturally occurring caves. The city was established by Annama Deva around 1324AD. Once a princely state, Bastar showcases a fine composition of Odia and tribal culture. Nature has blessed this place with breathtaking beauty, dotted with waterfalls, forests, national parks which shelter exceptional wildlife along with lots of tribal music and dance. From religious sites, palaces, museums, tribal art and culture, this place has a lot to offer to the tourists. The traditional Dussehra festival of Bastar is something one shouldn’t miss.

KAWARDHA

This beautiful town is also referred to as ‘Temple of Bhoramdeo’ which is said to have been built in four centuries, also called ‘Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh’. Established in 1751 as Kawardha State during British Raj, it was one of the princely states. Haq Nam Sabeh who was the 8th Kabeer panth guru, established Guru Gaddi in Kawardha making it a religious place for the faith. The city narrates fascinating stories through its historic past and scenic beauty which interests people of all ages. The city owns a lot of tourist sites with tribal culture and lifestyle.

RAIPUR

The capital city of Chhattisgarh is the industrial hub with several steel, coal and aluminum industries. Dotted with a countless number of lakes, academic institutions, temples; Raipur is one of the rapidly growing cities of the state, emerging out as Naya Raipur which is a well-structured city that boasts of cultural fusion. The city finds its existence from the 9th century as per the shreds of evidence recorded from the archaeological excavations.
