Subhomoy Banerjee was born in the city of Kolkata, which is the cultural and philosophical hotpot of India. He hails from the family with intellectual and artistic background and therefore knows some famous authors and artists. He has pursued a post graduate degree in Modern History from a prestigious institute of the city followed by the diploma in Tourism and French from Alliance Française de Calcutta.
Subhomoy, very fondly called “ALO” started his career way back in mid nineties as a guide from the eastern part of India, now accompany clients throughout India, Bhutan and Nepal. He is knowledgeable about the iconography of Hindu and Buddhist religion.
Subhomoy, is interested in painting and biking. When asked about his preferred region of India, his cryptic answer is: MY MOTHERLAND!!!
As a typical Bengali, Subhomoy relishes Ilish Machher Jhol(Hilsaa fish curry – a species of fish found in River Ganges prepared in mustard oil with onion seed).
Subhomoy believes in “Jio aur jine do” (Live, and let others live)!!!
